Australia recently hammered South Africa 4-1 in a five-match ODI series

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has made it clear that he believes Australia are the team to beat in the 2015 World Cup.

Vaughan’s comments come after Australia regained the top spot on the ODI rankings after thrashing South Africa 4-1.

“Hate to say it but Australia are the team to beat at WC….#Justsaying,” Vaughan said via his Twitter account.

Australia’s next ODI appearance will be in a tri-series against India and England on January 16.
