Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is unlikely to play the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai after he sustained a hamstring injury.
Hafeez scored 96 and 101 in the first Test in Abu Dhabi and also took two wickets as Pakistan went on to win the match by 248 runs.
However, Hafeez was also reported for a suspect bowling action after the match and has 21 days to get his action tested.
“As of today Hafeez is doubtful and we are assessing his hamstring injury and will take a final call on him on Monday,” Pakistan team manager Moin Khan told AFP.
