West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has announced that the “best West Indies team will tour South Africa” next month.
Bravo’s comments come after the West Indies recently pulled out midway through their tour of India due to a pay dispute with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). As a result of this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) want the WICB to pay them US$41.97 million in damages.
However, according to local papers in the Caribbean, the pay dispute has been resolved after a meeting was held last weekend.
“It’s all sorted out and the West Indies are going to be back playing again,” Bravo said. “As far as I know, the best West Indies team will tour South Africa.
“Everyone is available as far as I know and we look forward to trying to give the South African boys a good run. It’s always going to be tough, but it’s good that all the matters are resolved now.”
The West Indies’ tour of South Africa will consist of three Tests, three Twenty20 Internationals and five ODIs.
