Bangladesh were bowled out for 433 when Jubair Hossain was given out lbw for one run to hand Mushangwe his first Test wicket.

Hossain decided to review the decision, but replays showed that the ball was pitching in line and going on to hit the stumps. This led to the third umpire upholding the original decision.

Trailing by 433, Zimbabwe got off to a poor start as Raza was given out lbw off the bowling of Islam for 11.

Raza reviewed the decision immediately, but replays showed that the ball was pitching in line and going on to hit the stumps. This led to the third umpire upholding the original decision.

Chari and Masakadza amassed an unbeaten 36-run partnership before stumps was called.

Chari finished on 21 off 63 balls, which included one boundary and a six, while Masakadza remained undefeated on 15 off 35 deliveries, which included two boundaries.
