Sports psychologist and former England off-spinner Jeremy Snape has agreed to work with Sri Lanka during their upcoming ODI series against England, which gets underway on November 26 in Colombo.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have announced that they are still deciding whether they will require Snape’s services during the 2015 World Cup.

“We’ve confirmed that Jeremy Snape will be coming on an assignment basis, for the England tour,” SLC CEO Ashley de Silva said. “The decision on whether we will have a psychologist for the World Cup has not been made yet.”

It is also understood that SLC are in talks with Trevor Penney to become their new fielding coach. Penney held the same position with India before he recently decided to leave.
