Bangladesh have dropped pace bowler Al-Amin Hossain for the second Test against Zimbabwe in Khulna after he failed to impress in the first Test.

Hossain bowled eight overs in the first innings without taking a wicket and was subsequently not used in the second.

It has also been announced that wicketkeeper-batsman Anamul Haque will play in the second Test after missing the first one.

Haque is currently in Kolkata as part of the BCB XI squad that are playing in the Acharya Memorial Trophy.

He is expected to rejoin the national team after the BCB XI’s final match against Bengal on October 30.

The second Test between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe gets underway on November 3.
