Sri Lanka have called up uncapped pace bowler Lahiru Gamage for their upcoming limited overs tour of India.
Gamage, 26, plays for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club and has taken 96 first-class wickets at a respectable average of 33.22.
Interestingly enough, Sri Lanka have decided to drop vice-captain Lahiru Thirimanne, wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Chandimal, spinner Rangana Herath and injured pace bowler Lasith Malinga for the first three games of the five-match ODI series.
As a result, they have brought in opening batsman Kusal Perera, wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella and all-rounder Chaturanga de Silva as their replacements.
