Central Districts all-rounder Kieran Noema-Barnett has signed a three-year deal with Gloucestershire.
Noema-Barnett, who is a former New Zealand Under-19 cricketer, has a British passport and will therefore not be considered as an overseas signing.
The 27-year-old, who has played 45 List A matches and 63 Twenty20 games, is primarily a limited overs specialist and is known for hitting the ball a long way and his handy pace bowling.
“I’m rapt to be joining Gloucestershire Cricket,” Noema-Barnett said. “It’s a very exciting time for myself and the club and I can’t wait to get involved with the lads and contribute to the team.”
Gloucestershire’s director of cricket, John Bracewell, added: “It is fantastic news to have signed Kieran for the club. He is a fine all-rounder in all forms of the game and will strengthen and support our developing group with his leadership experience.”
