Fans and people watching at home were greeted with pictures of heavy rain, thunder and lightening as the highly-anticipated clash between the Chennai Super Kings and Lahore Lions in Bangalore was abandoned without a single ball being bowled.
In fact, the weather was so bad that the captains could not even come out to the middle for the toss.
With both teams receiving two points as a result of the match being abandoned, Chennai now find themselves in second place on the Group A points table with six points, while Lahore are fourth with only two points.
Chennai and Lahore will both be in action on Septemeber 27 as they will take on the Perth Scorchers and the Sunfoil Dolphins respectively.
