Dean Kino has resigned as Cricket Australia’s general manager of legal and business affairs, and as a member of the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) governing council and their director of legal and business affairs.
Kino’s resignation comes just a few days prior to the start of the sixth edition of the CLT20. However, the tournament’s organisers believe that the competition will go ahead without any problems.
According to sources, Kino is set to be replaced by Cricket Australia chairman Wally Edwards.
It is also understood that Kino quit his posts in order to open his own sports law consulting business.
