Legendary Pakistan batsman Wasim Akram will become a father once again after he confirmed that he and his Austalian wife, Shaniera, are expecting their first child.
Akram married Shaniera, who was born in Melbourne, on August 12 last year.
“I am thrilled to announce that @iamShaniera and I are expecting our first child together. Thank you for your wishes&prayers #babyontheway,” Akram said via his Twitter account.
The 48-year-old married his first wife, Huma, in 1995 and the couple had two sons together. However, Huma sadly passed away due to multiple organ failure in Chennai on October 25, 2009.
