“Indian cricket fans just accept it’s banter…Your team haven’t performed”

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has stirred up controversy after he posted a picture of a white flag on Twitter and called it the “New Indian cricket flag”.

Vaughan posted the picture shortly after India’s innings and 244-run loss to England in the fifth Test at The Oval, which is now their third-largest defeat in Test history. Furthermore, India were skittled out for a dismal 94 in the second innings during that match.

Following his picture of the “New Indian cricket flag”, Vaughan also took a cheap shot at the Indian fans.

“Indian cricket fans just accept it’s banter…Your team haven’t performed,” Vaughan tweeted.
