India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been fined 60 per cent of his match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during his side’s innings and 244-run loss to England at The Oval.

All of India’s other players have been docked 30 per cent of their match fee.

If Dhoni is found guilty of maintaining a slow over-rate at any point over the next 12 months, he will receive a one-match ban.

Dhoni has been in trouble for slow over-rates in the past and was even banned from playing the fourth Test against Australia in Adelaide due to India’s slow over-rate in the third Test in Perth.
