Zimbabwe pace bowler Brian Vitori is set to make his comeback after he was included in the national teamĀ for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa.

Vitori has not played any international cricket for almost a year due to an injury.

Uncapped 19-year-old all-rounder Luke Jongwe and 23-year-old pace bowler Neville Madziva have both been included in the squad as well.

Off-spinner John Nyumbu, who became only the second Zimbabwe cricketer to take a five-wicket haul on debut in a Test match, was also drafted into the side.

Due to the new additions, pace bowler Tendai Chatara has been dropped for the ODI series.

Meanwhile, this will be Elton Chigumbura’s first series as ODI captain.
