Hendricks has been diagnosed with a lumbar strain

South Africa pace bowler Beuran Hendricks has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe after he sustained a back injury.

Hendricks injured himself while representing South Africa A in the quadrangular A-team series in Australia.

According to Cricket South Africa, Hendricks has been diagnosed with a lumbar strain and has been advised to rest for an undisclosed amount of time.

Cricket South Africa also announced that they would not be sending a replacement for Hendricks.
