India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee after being found guilty of a Level 1 breach of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct.
Jadeja and England pace bowler James Anderson allegedly got involved in an altercation during the second day of the first Test in Nottingham.
However, match referee David Boon found Jadeja not guilty of the Level 2 charge slapped against him by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
But, Jadeja was found guilty of “conduct contrary to the spirit of the game” and was subsequently fined.
