Sibanda only made four runs in the first ODI

Zimbabwe batsman Vusi Sibanda has been dropped for the rest of the ODI series against Afghanistan and will be replaced by Richard Mutumbami.

Zimbabwe Cricket announced that Sibanda was dropped due to “indifferent performances.”

Zimbabwe’s convener of selectors, Givemore Makoni, told Sibanda that he could stay in Bulawayo and train with the rest of the national team. However, the 30-year-old chose to go to Harare and train there instead.
