Former India off-spinner Rajesh Chauhan has undergone surgery after suffering a cardiac arrest on Monday.
Chauhan is reported to be in stable condition at the Bhilai Steel Plant hospital in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
Chauhan suffered the heart attack at his house on Monday evening and was rushed to hospital.
The 47-year-old represented India in 21 Test matches and took 47 wickets at an average of 39.51. He also played 35 ODIs and claimed 29 wickets at an average of 41.93.
