Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have decided to keep the floodlights on standby during the second ODI between Sri Lanka and South Africa in Pallekele.

The move comes after the first ODI between the two nations was affected by bad light.

Both Sri Lanka and South Africa have agreed to use the floodlights if conditions become as gloomy as they were in Colombo.

“Both Sri Lanka and South Africa teams and their respective boards are in agreement to use lights in the event the light deteriorates during the third ODI of the South Africa tour of Sri Lanka,” an SLC release said.
