India batsman Suresh Raina will captain the national team during their three-match ODI tour of Bangladesh next month.
Raina was handed the captaincy after regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was rested for the tour, along with Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami.
Following his stellar performance in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL), Robin Uthappa earned himself a spot in the side, along with wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, Varun Aaron, Stuart Binny, Amit Mishra, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Vinay Kumar, Manoj Tiwary, Parvez Rasool, Mohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu.
Delhi Daredevils batsman Kedar Jadhav and Kings XI Punjab spinner Akshar Patel have both been included in the squad as well and will be hoping to make their international debuts.
