More heavy rain is likely over the next two days

The Indian Premier League (IPL) qualifier match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Kings XI Punjab was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday due to heavy rain in Kolkata.

The covers have been on the ground since Sunday and the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted more heavy rain for the next two days, raising fears of a possible washout.

As a result of the torrential downpour, the match is scheduled to be played on May 28 at 14:30 GMT.
