Former Zimbabwe opening batsman Grant Flower will be Pakistan’s batting coach for the next two years, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have confirmed.
Flower got the nod of approval after being recommended by the coach selection committee, which consists of chief selector Moin Khan, Intikhab Alam, who is the director of domestic cricket operations, and Haroon Rashid, who is the director of game development.
It was also announced that Flower will start in August in order to have some time to work with the national team prior to their tour of Sri Lanka.
Flower comes to Pakistan after having spent three years as Zimbabwe’s batting coach.
