The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced that the country’s centrally contracted players are set to receive a 25 per cent pay hike in their monthly retainers.

This hike comes in addition to the 25 per cent hike in Test match fees and a 10 per cent hike in ODI fees.

However, the PCB have yet to decide which players will be included in their list of centrally contracted players.

The decision will only come at the end of the ongoing training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

The PCB have also revised their bonus system, whereby extra payments will be given to individual players when they perform brilliantly during a match and when the national team win a series.
