Pakistan pace bowler Junaid Khan has signed with Lancashire for all of the county’s limited overs matches in the ongoing season.
Khan is expected to play his first match, which will be a Twenty20, against Nottinghamshire on May 16.
Khan represented Lancashire back in 2011 and had a lot of success, taking 12 wickets in eight Twenty20 matches.
“We are delighted to be bringing Junaid back to Lancashire following his memorable spell with us in 2011,” Lancashire’s director of cricket Mike Watkinson said. “Following his time with us, he went on to become an established international with Pakistan and we are looking forward to him bringing that experience to Old Trafford as we aim to build on a good season in 2014.”
