England pace bowler Chris Jordan has signed a two-year extension with Sussex, which will see him remain at Hove till the end of 2016.

Jordan excelled in his first year with Sussex, taking 59 wickets, which earned him the opportunity to make his international debut.

“It’s great to have signed an extension to my contract at Hove,” Jordan said. “I really enjoyed my first season with Sussex and hopefully I can continue putting in solid performances and to help us be successful, especially with our strong start to the campaign.

“I want to be able to help Sussex have the best chance of winning trophies, and hopefully the new contract will give me the platform to push for further international honours across the next couple of seasons.”
