New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson could lose half of his Indian Premier League (IPL) salary since there is a very good chance that he will miss a significant part of the tournament.

Anderson is currently recovering from a dislocated finger and head coach Mike Hesson stated that it will take four to six weeks to heal.

This means that Anderson may only make $433,000 instead of $866,000, which was what the Mumbai Indians paid to acquire him during the IPL auction in February.
