South Africa won the last Test series 2-1 in 2011

After agreeing to postpone their Test series to 2015, Cricket South Africa and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have announced that they will be bringing their series forward by one year.

This means that South Africa will tour Sri Lanka for two Tests and three ODIs in July.

It was originally scheduled to be a three-Test series, but both boards agreed to scrap one Test in favour of three ODIs.

This will be Sri Lanka’s first Test series at home since March 2013.

There has also been no word on the dates of when the tour will commence.
