Miandad is sick and tired of all the changes the PCB has undergone as of late
Legendary Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad has stepped down as the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) director general after five years.
The PCB, who is currently led by Najam Sethi, is still yet to accept Miandad’s resignation and it is also understood that they will only take a decision on the matter during the next committee meeting.
According to sources, Miandad wrote a letter to the PCB stating that he could no longer be part of a constantly changing environment.
A PCB spokesman confirmed that Sethi had received Miandad’s resignation letter.
Miandad was appointed to the post in 2008, but his workload has decreased significantly over the last couple of months.
