Raina will still be part of India’s World Twenty20 squad

India have decided to drop batsman Suresh Raina for the upcoming Asia Cup, which starts on February 25 and features Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

However, despite being dropped from India’s Asia Cup squad, Raina has been included in the country’s World Twenty20 team.

It has also been announced that Cheteshwar Pujara will replace Raina for the Asia Cup, while pace bowler Ishant Sharma has been dropped for the tournament and World Twenty20.
