Haddin is the latest international star to pull out of the IPL
Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has decided to pull out of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) due to family reasons.
Haddin, who is currently in South Africa with the rest of Australia’s Test team, has only made one appearance in the IPL, which came all the way back in April 2011 when he made 18 runs off 11 balls for the Kolkata Knight Riders in their match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
However, due to his 493 runs at an average of 61.62 against England in the recent Ashes series, Haddin managed to secure himself a base price of Rs 20 million ($320,000, approx) for the IPL auction.
