“As far as I am concerned, my sentiments have not changed”

Former South Africa head coach Gary Kirsten has announced that he is uninterested in replacing Andy Flower as England’s team director.

Flower stepped down from the position following the national team’s nightmare tour of Australia, in which they lost 12 games and only won one.

Kirsten added that he has no intentions of returning to international cricket since it prevents him from spending quality time with his family.

“I suppose it is flattering that people are thinking about me,” Kirsten said. “As far as I am concerned, my sentiments have not changed.”
