Dunk has scored three half-centuries in the ongoing tournament
Hobart Hurricanes batsman Ben Dunk has been named the Big Bash League’s (BBL) Player of the Tournament after scoring 348 runs at a brilliant average of 49.71.
England and Melbourne Stars batsman Luke Wright came in second place as he fell one vote short of Dunk, while Sydney Sixers all-rounder Moises Henriques finished in third place.
Speaking about the upcoming semi-final match against the Stars, who have yet to be defeated, Dunk said: “They’re certainly under a lot of pressure. You don’t want to go through a whole season undefeated and lose a semi. So that’s something we’ll try to play on.”
