Chanderpaul is now the sixth-highest run-scorer in Test cricket history

West Indies veteran batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul has surpassed the legendary Allan Border to become the sixth-highest all-time run-scorer in Test cricket history.

Chanderpaul accomplished the feat during his magnificent unbeaten knock of 122 in the West Indies’ first innings against New Zealand in Hamilton.

This was Chanderpaul’s 17th unbeaten century, which puts him ahead of Sachin Tendulkar as the batsman with the most unbeaten centuries.

Chanderpaul has represented the West Indies in 152 Test matches and scored an incredible 11,199 runs at an outstanding average of 51.52.
