Clarke rolled his ankle during a training session on Monday

Australia captain Michael Clarke will play the second Ashes Test in Adelaide, which gets underway on December 5, despite missing a training session this morning due to a sore ankle.

Clarke looked to be in a lot of pain when he rolled his ankle during a training session on Monday, but after leaving the field for a while, he returned and even batted in the nets.

A Cricket Australia spokesman revealed that Clarke’s ankle was still a “bit stiff” and added that “he will train tomorrow and will play the game”.
