Bresnan took four wickets in the England Performance Programmes’ match against Queensland’s Second XI
England pace bowler Tim Bresnan is likely to make his Test comeback during the second Test in Adelaide, which gets underway on December 5, after he was included in the Ashes squad.
Bresnan has been sidelined since early August after sustaining a lower back stress fracture during the fourth Ashes Test in Durham.
Bresnan showed a lot of promise during the England Performance Programmes’ match against Queensland’s Second XI, where he picked up four wickets.
According to sources, Bresnan has been bowling at full pace in the nets for the past couple of weeks.
If Bresnan does play in the second Test, it is likely that Chris Tremlett will be sidelined, despite having taken four wickets in the first Test in Brisbane.
