Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh will begin on January 27

Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh has been brought forward from February 2014 to January 27 in order to allow the Asia Cup to get underway on February 24.

Sri Lanka will now have a week to rest and recuperate between the conclusion of their series against Pakistan and the beginning of their two-Test series against Bangladesh.

The tour will also consist of three ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals.

Both nations last squared off against each other in Sri Lanka in March this year, where the Sri Lankans won the Test series 1-0, along with the one-off Twenty20 International, while the ODI series finished as a 1-1 draw.
