Al Hasan admitted to hospital with dengue fever

“The blood test report has confirmed that it is a case of dengue fever”

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with dengue fever by the national team’s medical staff.

Al Hasan was ruled out of the first ODI against New Zealand in Mirpur today with a high fever.

Bangladesh physiotherapist Vibhav Singh stated that a blood test confirmed Al Hasan had contracted dengue fever.

“The blood test report has confirmed that it is a case of dengue fever,” Singh said. “Shakib will remain at the hospital for further observation.”
