Hadlee was one of eight people elected to the board of directors
Former New Zealand captain Sir Richard Hadlee has been elected to New Zealand Cricket’s (NZC) board of directors, along with all-rounder Martin Snedden and left-arm pace bowler Geoff Allott.
The trio were among eight new directors voted onto the board of directors by delegates representing all Major Associations and District Associations in a meeting in Auckland.
The other five members elected were Greg Barclay, Neil Craig, Liz Dawson, Stuart Heal and Don Mackinnon.
Heal, who is currently in charge of the audit and financial risk committee, will hold the position as interim chairman of the board until a permanent chairman is elected at a board meeting on October 23.
