A BATTING WITH BIMAL BREAKING REPORT: Shaun Marsh looking to regain spot in Australian team

Marsh truly believes he will be back representing Australia in all three formats soon enough

After having experienced an extremely turbulent year, former Australia batsman Shaun Marsh believes he is a stronger person and has announced his desire to represent his country in all three formats once again.

Marsh impressed the selectors with his performances in the Big Bash League (BBL), so much so that he was included in Australia’s Twenty20 squad for their recently concluded two-match series against Sri Lanka.

Marsh’s batting display in the BBL not only impressed selectors, but also former Australia ‘spin king’ Shane Warne, who called on Cricket Australia to add Marsh to all three squads right away.

However, Marsh is committed to working with Western Australia and rebuilding his career and believes that sooner or later, he will get the recall he has been waiting so long for.

After being axed from the Western Australia side for having too many drinks one night in South Africa, Marsh stated that the ups and downs of the past 12 months have made him into a stronger and more determined person.

During his time on the sidelines, Marsh admitted to having thoughts about whether his career was going to move forward or whether it would continue to go round in circles and ultimately lead nowhere.

But, Marsh knows that the only way he will earn his recall is through hard work and consistent performances.
