Bailey has no problems with not being able to fit in
Australia Twenty2o captain George Bailey has announced that he still does not feel like a full member of the national team, but added that there was nothing wrong with it in his mind.
Bailey, who is also the skipper of Tasmania and the Hobart Hurricanes, took charge of Australia’s ODI squad for the first time during their recently concluded series against Sri Lanka after regular captain Michael Clarke was rested and vice-captain Shane Watson was sidelined with a calf injury that had been bothering him for some time.
Since making his debut in March last year against the West Indies, Bailey has scored 441 runs, which include three half-centuries, at a respectable average of 40.10.
Bailey added that he believes he will never fit into the Australian line-up throughout his entire career, but put the reason purely down to the nature of the game.
