A BATTING WITH BIMAL BREAKING REPORT: I believe our pace bowling attack is as good as anyone else’s, says Peter Siddle

Siddle sees no reason as to why Australia cannot have the best pace bowling attack in the world

Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle has announced that the national team’s pace bowling attack is as good as anyone else’s and would even intimidate the world class South African bowlers.

As of right now, South Africa’s pace trio of Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Vernon Philander is regarded as the best bowling attack in international cricket, but Siddle believes otherwise.

Siddle feels that the Australian pacers can give their South African rivals a run for their money after the way they humiliated India’s outstanding batting lineup in January.

“India coming out here, at the time, although they’d aged a little bit their batting line-up was just as strong as South Africa’s and we stuck it to them. It was just about the belief in the bowling unit that we have … we can definitely contend with anyone in the world, they’ve (South Africa) got the record under their belt. They’ve played for a little bit longer and might be a bit more experienced than our line-up at the moment … but I think we can put it up to them this summer, we can match them, definitely. By the end of it we can be reaching some of the heights where they’re at right now,” Siddle said.
