Cooper was looking very promising in the six games he played for Rajasthan
Rajasthan Royals all-rounder, Kevon Cooper’s IPL has come to an end after it was announced that he had sustained a fractured knee.
Cooper, injured himself on April 29 when fielding against the Delhi Daredevils, and will be out of action for four to five weeks.
Rajasthan captain, Rahul Dravid was extremely disappointed to lose the young talent, and said: “He has come in as a young kid and performed exceptionally well and done some difficult jobs for us.”
Cooper, started off his IPL debut against the Kings XI Punjab in flamboyant style, as he picked up four wickets and smashed a six off the first ball he faced.
The West Indian all-rounder has been Rajasthan’s top wicket taker, claiming ten wickets in just six matches.
Rajasthan bought the young talent, who was looking to be the find of the tournament, for $50,000 at the IPL auction in February.
