Samuels led the West Indies to victory at the World Twenty20 last October
West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels has been named as the West Indies’ Overall and ODI player of the year for 2012 at a West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and West Indies Players Association award ceremony in Trinidad.

Former Guyana and West Indies batsmen Clive Lloyd and Roger Harper have deemed the recent Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) elections, which were held on January 27, “illegal” and lashed out at the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) for standing idly by and failing to take any responsibility.
