Pakistan batsman Khalid Latif appealed against his five-year ban, but while his suspension was still upheld, he will no longer have to pay a fine of Rs 1 million (approximately US$9,500).

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lawyer Taffazul Rizvi has revealed that the board seized bat grips given to batsman Khalid Latif by a bookmaker to indicate he would be spot-fixing.
