Sri Lanka and Pakistan would have played the first international day-night Test if SLC had accepted the PCB’s offer

Just days after Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) president Jayantha Dharmadasa revealed that the board would seriously consider allowing the national team to play a day-night Test against Pakistan when they tour the United Arab Emirates in December, SLC have announced that they have rejected the offer.
