Ul-Haq believes a Twenty20 tournament can help revive international cricket in Pakistan
Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has announced that the country needs their own Twenty20 league due to the fact that no international teams even dare to travel to the war-torn nation, especially after the Sri Lankan national team was ambushed by armed militants, which left six players injured and eight locals dead.

Whatmore may not be around for much longer
It is highly likely that Pakistan will have a new coach heading into the 2014 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20 and 2015 ICC World Cup as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are hesitant to renew current head coach Dav Whatmore’s contract, which expires in March 2014.
