Former India batsman Ajay Sharma has been cleared of match-fixing by a Delhi district court after 14 years.
The BCCI are still deciding whether to appeal the removal of Azharuddin’s life ban in the Supreme Court
Just a month after former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin had his life ban lifted by the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) stepped in and announced that they would be reviewing the court’s decision, but could not come to an agreement at the end of their first meeting and have thus chosen to “defer” the decision until a later date.
