Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood has credited the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for playing a key role in improving his game.
He noted that the PSL is an excellent tournament as it gives players the opportunity to play alongside some of the best cricketers in the world and learn from top coaches.
Masood added that the T20 league also serves as an important springboard for talented players aiming to break into the national team.
“The Pakistan Super League has played an important role in improving my cricket, one gets to learn a great deal from the world’s best foreign coaches, the PSL environment is very different, the PSL is a highly successful platform for the development of young players,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Masood didn’t take part in the 2026 T20 World Cup or Pakistan’s three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-1.
