Aamer Yamin: “Fakhar Zaman is the best one-day and T20 player in Pakistan”

Veteran all-rounder Aamer Yamin believes big-hitting batsman Fakhar Zaman is the “best one-day and T20 player in Pakistan.”
A stalwart of Pakistan’s white-ball setup, Zaman has delivered many memorable performances over the years.
Lately, he was involved in Pakistan’s three-match ODI series against South Africa and made 45 runs at an average of 15.
He fared much better in the three ODIs against Sri Lanka, racking up 165 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 55.
After this, he took part in a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, and finished with 75 runs in five matches at an average of 25 and a strike-rate of 150.
“Fakhar Zaman is the best one-day and T20 player in Pakistan,” Aamer said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Zaman is now featuring in the International League T20 (ILT20), where he has amassed 240 runs in 11 matches for the Desert Vipers, which includes a top score of 69, at an average of 21.81 and a strike-rate of 123.71.
The 35-year-old is expected to return to international duty soon as he was included in Pakistan’s team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, which will take place in Dambulla from January 7 to 11.
