Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt acknowledged batsman Babar Azam “needs to justify his selection” in the T20I team after being provided with the opportunity to make a comeback.
Azam returned to the shortest format during Pakistan’s home series against South Africa and scored 79 runs in three T20Is, which included a top score of 68, at an average of 39.50 and a strike-rate of 117.91.

“Babar needs to justify his selection by scoring crucial runs for Pakistan at No. 3,” he was quoted as saying on Facebook.
